The accelerator CBS(CZ) is also known as N-cy-clohexy-2-benzothiazole sulphenamide. Molecular formula C13H16N2S2, relative molecular mass 264.41. CBS is a white, light gray or light yellow powder with a slight smell. It is insoluble water, soluble benzene butadiene, dichloromethane, carbon tetracygification, acetic acid vinegar and acetone, slightly soluble butaethyl alcohol and gasoline melting point 103-104℃. Its relative density is 1.27~1.30. Prolonged heat can be gradually decomposed. It clumps easily. Bitter, non-toxic.

Production principle: The 2-mercaptobenzothiazole was mixed with cyclohexylamine aqueous solution and then oxidized and condensed with sodium hypochlorite. Application: Ductile rubber vulcanization accelerator, one of the commonly used after-effect accelerator. Strong scorch resistance, short curing time, can improve the fixed elongation strength and tensile strength of vulcanized rubber. It is suitable for natural rubber and synthetic rubber reinforced carbon black by oil furnace method with higher alkaline content. Slight discoloration, no spray frost, vulcanized rubber has excellent aging resistance. Mainly used in tires, rubber shoes, rubber hose, tape, cable and general industrial products. Safety, storage and transportation: Toxic chemicals such as chlorine gas and cyclohexylamine are used in production. The equipment should be closed, the workshop should be well ventilated, and the operator should wear protective equipment;Use the woven bags of Uchimura plastic bags and store in a cool and dry warehouse. Regular turnover, storage period is generally not more than 6 months. Chemicals are stored and transported as usual.
